Dr. Ronald Copeland, M.D. FACS, a Senior Vice President of National Diversity, Inclusion and Equity at Kaiser Permanente used video to emphasize the importance of equity and inclusion within the organization. We collaborated with project managers and team members to deliver a video consistent with the brand and culture in a speedy way, that reflected the urgent need to address the issues that were taking center stage across the nation. 

 
 

Kaiser Permanente in Greater Southern Alameda County used video to create a series of videos demonstrating the importance of the 4 Habits model. We worked closely with the senior consultant and assistant chiefs to bring their visions to the screen. From concept to delivery, the series of 6 videos took approximately two months, with two shooting days, and our small team or 2 delivered the final products for about half the cost of a comparable service. 


 

We partnered with Bushido Restaurant in the heart of Silicon Valley to promote the idea that Japanese Whiskey could pair with traditional Haute cuisine. As whiskey sales boomed during the pandemic across the country, Bushido was looking for a way to introduce different ideas of how to enjoy Japanese whiskey. Our videos helped grow per-customer spend by marketing higher margin products and attracted a new customer base of whiskey fans to the restaurant.

 
 

Our first project with Custom Exteriors, a windows and door installation company servicing the Pleasanton Tri-Valley area was back in 2020. Since then, we’ve shot and produced multiple testimonial videos and employee bios that were used for marketing and recruiting purposes. The snippet (above or below) is a simple Facebook promotion featuring real Yelp reviews. Our low-cost video production and speed of delivery allowed us to continue putting out effective and relevant content as the company made changes to adapt to the pandemic and to evolving consumer demands, and ultimately grow their top-line revenue numbers in consecutive years.


 

In 2021, we worked with Kaiser Permanente San Francisco Medical Center to produce a series of videos highlighting the importance of Equity, Inclusion and Diversity in the workplace. In an early survey with staff members, the video we produced was voted the most impactful out of 8 initiatives and the project was expanded into a series showcasing and celebrating LGBTQ, Asian American/Pacific Islander, Latino Heritage, African American Heritage and Women’s History. 

 

In the Spring of 2021, urban centers saw an influx of violence against Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. It became so prevalent that it made national headlines and Kaiser Permanente San Francisco felt the need to respond in support of its AAPI team members in a timely manner. The result was that the AAPI staff members had an outlet to voice their concerns and received immediate support at a time when they may have felt particularly vulnerable. This was a perfect example of how an organization can use video to be a leader in making statements in response to current events.


 

The pandemic changed how we work as the world transitioned to digital solutions. We traveled to Cincinnati, OH to work with UC Gardner Neuroscience Institute to produce a video for viewers in Japan. We completed the video in less than 7 days with significant cost savings compared to a meeting or teleconference.

 

We assisted Ginger.io, a healthcare technology start-up, with their video needs in communicating their value propositions to potential customers and investors. We work with the founders to create a series of product tutorial videos. Today, Ginger.io is used by millions of users around the world in 50 countries and is a leading global healthcare provider of mental health technology.
